Mizzle
Weather on your watch face. Mizzle adds temperature, rain, high/low, UV and wind complications to any Wear OS watch face that takes them, plus a tile with the next six hours. Use the watch's location or pick any city, so it works on watches Google's weather app has left behind.
Complications
Short text, long text, ring (ranged value) and small-image slots, so it fits whatever your watch face offers.
Rain in N minutes
The rain complication counts down to the next wet hour: "40m", "Now" or "Dry". In the Nordics it adds MET Norway's chance of rain.
Your city or GPS
Use the watch's rough location, or type or say any city. Handy for watches without GPS or for checking home while you're away.
Works offline
Each update saves about two days of hourly forecast, so complications keep moving hour by hour when the watch is off the network.
Easy on the battery
At most one small download an hour, only on a network and never when the battery is low.
Units your way
°C with km/h, °C with mph (UK), or °F with mph.
Free and Pro
- Free: temperature and rain complications.
- Pro (£1.99, one payment through Google Play): high/low, UV and wind complications and the 6-hour tile. No subscription, no account, no ads.
Setting it up
- Install Mizzle on your watch and open it once. Tap Use my location or Choose a city.
- Long-press your watch face, tap Edit, choose a complication slot and pick a Mizzle complication.
- For the tile (Pro), swipe to the end of your tiles, tap + and add Mizzle next 6 hours.
What you need
- A Wear OS 3 watch or later: Pixel Watch, Galaxy Watch 4 onwards, TicWatch, Fossil and others. No phone app needed.
- A watch face with complication slots. Most do, including Watch Face Format faces.
Looking for Google Weather on your watch?
Google's weather app can't be installed on many Wear OS 6 watches and stopped working on some older ones. See weather on Wear OS without Google Weather.
Troubleshooting
- Complication shows "--": open Mizzle and set a place. It needs one download before it can show anything.
- Location is out of date: Mizzle doesn't track you in the background. It uses the last position your watch already knows, and refreshes it when you open the app.
- No chance of rain percentage: MET Norway publishes it only for the Nordic countries. Elsewhere you get the time until rain and the amount.
